យោងតាមការបង្ហោះផ្សាយរបស់ក្រសួងការពារជាតិបានឱ្យដឹងថា នារសៀលថ្ងៃអង្គារទី៥ ខែឧសភា ឆ្នាំ២០២៦ ឧត្តមសេនីយ៍ឯក ផាត វិបុលសុភ័ក្រ្ត អគ្គនាយករង អគ្គនាយកដ្ឋាននយោបាយ និងកិច្ចការបរទេស និងជានាយក នាយកដ្ឋានទាក់ទងអន្តរជាតិ នៃក្រសួងការពារជាតិ នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា បានទៅទទួលស្វាគមន៍ដំណើរអញ្ជើញមកដល់របស់ ឧត្តមនាវីត្រី គ្លេន ហ្ស៊ី ឌីហ្សុន (GLENN Z DIZON) ប្រធានបេសកកម្ម នៃក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍អាស៊ាន (AOT HOM) ថ្មីប្រចាំព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា នៅអាកាសយាន្តដ្ឋានអន្តរជាតិតេជោ។

ក្រសួងការពារជាតិ នៃព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា សូមសម្តែងនូវការស្វាគមន៍យ៉ាងកក់ក្តៅ និងសូមកោតសរសើរយ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅបំផុតចំពោះវត្តមានរបស់ក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍ប្រទេសហ្វីលីពីន មកកាន់ព្រះរាជាណាចក្រកម្ពុជា ជាមួយនឹងការប្តេជ្ញាចិត្តខ្ពស់ក្នុងការបំពេញតួនាទី ក្នុងនាមជាប្រធានក្រុមអ្នកសង្កេតការណ៍អាស៊ាន (AOT) ក្នុងឆ្នាំ២០២៦ បន្តពីប្រទេសម៉ាឡេស៊ី អនុលោមតាមស្មារតីសេចក្តីប្រកាសរួមនៃកិច្ចប្រជុំពិសេសលើកទី៣ នៃគណៈកម្មាធិការព្រំដែនទូទៅកម្ពុជា-ថៃ (GBC) កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២៧ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ ដើម្បីសង្កេតការណ៍ ផ្ទៀងផ្ទាត់ និងធានាការអនុវត្តបទឈប់បាញ់ឱ្យបានពេញលេញ និងប្រកបដោយប្រសិទ្ធភាព សំដៅលើកកម្ពស់តម្លាភាព គណនេយ្យភាព និងការជឿទុកចិត្តគ្នាទៅវិញទៅមករវាងកម្ពុជានិងថៃ ដើម្បីឆ្ពោះទៅការធ្វើឱ្យប្រសើរឡើងវិញឆាប់រហ័ស និងការវិលត្រឡប់ទៅរកប្រក្រតីភាព សន្តិភាព ស្ថិរភាព និងសុវត្ថិភាពយូរអង្វែងនៅតាមបណ្តោយព្រំដែន។

On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 5, 2026, Lieutenant General Phat Vibolsopheak, Deputy Director General of the General Department of Policy and Foreign Affairs and Director of the Department of International Relations, Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, welcomed the arrival of Commodore Glenn Z. Dizon, the new Head of Mission of the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT HOM) to Cambodia, at Techo International Airport. It is worth noting that the arrival of Commodore Glenn Z. Dizon and three other officers from the Armed Forces of the Philippines follows the official handover of leadership from Malaysia to the Philippines. This transition took place on April 30, 2026, in Manila, Philippines, under the presidency of the Commanders-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of both Malaysia and the Philippines.
The Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia expresses its warmest welcome and deepest appreciation for the presence of the Philippine observer team in Cambodia, noting their high commitment to fulfilling the role as the Chair of the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) for 2026. Succeeding Malaysia in this capacity, the mission is conducted in accordance with the spirit of the Joint Statement from the 3rd Special Meeting of the Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) held on December 27, 2025. The team’s primary objectives are to observe, verify, and ensure the full and effective implementation of the ceasefire, while promoting transparency, accountability, and mutual trust between Cambodia and Thailand. Ultimately, this mission aims to facilitate a swift recovery and a return to normalcy, ensuring long-term peace, stability, and safety along the border.
It is also important to highlight that since the ceasefire came into effect, Cambodia has consistently respected and strictly implemented the ceasefire agreement, the Joint Declaration on the Peace Agreement between Cambodia and Thailand dated October 26, 2025, and the Joint Statement of the 3rd Special Meeting of the Cambodia-Thailand General Border Committee (GBC) dated December 27, 2025, along with other relevant agreements. Furthermore, Cambodia has always provided its full support to the ASEAN Observer Team (AOT) mechanism, emphasizing the indispensable importance of strengthening the AOT’s role and mandate.
